The house in central Hampshire is accessed along a private drive with the car parking located adjacent the highway access on the lower part of the site.
The building is rectangular in form and consists of two horizontal layers set above a floating plinth that runs around the entire perimeter.
The first floor overhangs the ground with shallow balconies that provide shading to the rooms below and the roof similarly projects to shade the first floor to prevent solar gain.
The main entrance opens into a two-storey lobby with office and cinema / games room to one side of the ground floor and reception rooms including open plan kitchen, dining and living to the other. A utility, boot room and pantry forms a solid end to the building.
The reception rooms incorporate full height sliding doors to the long elevations that open up towards the front and rear gardens.
The first floor is split into two sides, the first of which incorporates a guest suite with private balcony. A bridge access leads to the three family bedrooms, the master having a private balcony whereas the junior bedrooms sharing a balcony.
A projecting reading nook is included along the bedroom access with book shelves built into the adjacent walls.
The rear garden incorporates extensive private seating areas set around a pool and separate pond which are protected from the highway by the house and benefit from far ranging views across the countryside.
Materials are polished concrete cladding to the ground floor to provide a robust, textured façade with white render above. The light colours continue on the raised deck, balconies and projecting roof.
